Project description: Yale Holdings, LLC is proposing a mixed-use development along Trunk Highway (TH) 169 within the City of Garrison, MN. This proposed development is on approximately 122 acres and includes up to 189 single family homes (aka cottages), 86 condos, and a hotel/lodge with 144 rooms. Construction will also include stormwater infrastructure, internal roads, and utilities.

Notice title: Notice of Public Information and Environmental Assessment Scoping Meetings Notice description: The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (Commission) and the Minnesota Department of Commerce (Department) will hold public information and environmental assessment (EA) scoping meetings for Great River Energy’s Pilot Knob to Burnsville 115 kV Transmission Line Rebuild and Upgrade Project on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 12 to 2 pm (virtual/online) and Wednesday, February 21, 2024 (in-person) from 6 to 8 pm, doors open at 5 pm. Written comments will be accepted through March 6, 2024. Project description: Great River Energy (GRE) has submitted a route permit application to rebuild and upgrade an existing 69 kV transmission line with a new 115 kV HVTL (High Voltage Transmission Line). Approximately 8.75 miles long, it will span from the Pilot Knob Substation in Eagan to the Burnsville Substation in Burnsville. The proposed Project will also include upgrades and modifications to the existing Burnsville substation.

Fish kill reports
Minnesota Duty Officer reports pertaining to fish kills are summarized in the following table, in accordance with 103G.216, REPORTING FISH KILLS IN PUBLIC WATERS, Subd. 2 Reporting Requirement. These reports were received via the Minnesota Duty Officer prior to the submission deadline for this edition of the EQB Monitor. They represent the raw data/information provided by callers. For more information regarding fish kills in Minnesota see the Department of Natural Resources. Call the Minnesota Duty Officer at 651‐649‐5451 or 800‐422‐0798 to report fish kills.

The EQB Monitor is published every Tuesday at noon. Submissions to the EQB Monitor are due by 4:00 p.m. on the Tuesday one week prior to the intended publication date.
