NIJ is seeking a Safety Health and Wellness Research Advisor (GS-14) to:
-
Serve as an expert on general medical and healthcare topics applied to the safety, health, and wellness of practitioners and those involved in the criminal justice system.

Consult with federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement on technology-focused research, development, and evaluation projects related to criminal justice policy and practice in the U.S.
-
Build and maintain relationships with criminal justice practitioners, the academic community, relevant industry organizations and other stakeholders in research, development, and evaluation on criminal justice issues.

Conduct intramural research on general medical and healthcare topics related to criminal justice and public safety.
