Hi John,
Have you heard? Shell is suing us for peacefully protesting against their climate-wrecking activities.
Shameful, isn’t it? Despite announcing profits of £22.4 billion last year, they’re suing us for millions of dollars – all because we refuse to turn a blind eye while they destroy the planet for profit [1].
They know that drilling for new oil and gas is fuelling the climate crisis. They’ve known it for decades. But Shell continue to put their corporate greed first, at the expense of ordinary people’s lives.
John, we're standing firm in our fight against Big Oil, but we need your support. Will you help fund our climate activism with a monthly donation? Every pound makes a huge difference.
Yes, I'll join with a monthly donation: [link removed]
All across the globe, people are rising up against Big Oil. From frontline activists to protesters in the streets, the global climate movement is gaining momentum. And we need your support so we can continue to confront the world’s biggest climate criminals head-on.
The science is clear. The more fossil fuels we burn, the more heatwaves and storms people around the world will face. Yet oil companies like Shell are out there right now, drilling for new fossil fuels even after experts have said this needs to stop.
Last year, our brave activists peacefully occupied a Shell oil platform for 13 days as it was travelling to the North Sea to unlock new oil. They were calling on the company to stop their dangerous hunt for new fossil fuels, and demanding that they pay compensation to the countries most impacted by the climate crisis (that they helped create). But their response is to sue us!
Please can you help us fight against destructive fossil fuels? Every donation helps us advocate for a greener, safer and healthier future for all.
Yes, I'll chip in with a monthly gift: [link removed]
We all deserve a world without fossil fuels. We deserve to breathe clean air, to enjoy nature and wildlife, to live without the fear of extreme flooding and droughts. But if we want to achieve this, we need more than hope – we need action.
Together, we can push for real change – and show oil giants like Shell that we won’t be bullied into silence.

P.S. This lawsuit is just the tip of the iceberg. Big Oil will stop at nothing to silence those who challenge their harmful activities, but we won’t back down. Please donate today to help us fight back against Big Oil: [link removed]
