John, we are thankful for you. In this uncertain time, we realize that you or your loved ones may be affected, in health or in finances. Giving may not be an option for you right now, and that’s okay.
We will continue to ask for gifts because that’s what our survivors and those still waiting for rescue need, but simply having you with us — in email, on the phone, by web conference or by prayer — is a huge encouragement to us. Know that we are here for you as well.
Thank you for partnering with us in this fight.
A few weeks ago we introduced you to a girl named Naomi, who experienced utter upheaval of a different kind in her life a few years ago. Here’s a reminder of her story.
Naomi is a daughter, a sister and a girl with dreams.
One night, when two men broke into her mother’s home to rob them, they decided to attack her too. The men severely abused Naomi — she was only 16 years old.
Because of your support, IJM was there for her in the aftermath of the violent attack.
Naomi courageously testified in court. Because of consistent support from people like you, IJM could stick by her side for the four years it took to see justice in her case.
Thanks to you, her attackers were sentenced to 15 years in prison, and Naomi has renewed hope for the future.
