Clayton is under attack, and we need you standing with him right now.
This race is down to the wire. And our opponent is being bankrolled to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars by right wing Republican donors to run ads smearing Clayton with dishonest attacks designed to mislead voters. We can see why–she has to do everything she can to try to change the subject from her own troubling history of wrongfully convicting an innocent 11 year old Black child of murder.
We can win this race–but it’s going to be close, and we need to raise a lot more money to compete with her extreme right wing donor base. Can you contribute right now to make sure we can get it done? [[link removed]]
Last week, we saw our opponent report contributions from the chairman of an anti-immigrant hate group that the Southern Poverty Law Center identified as having roots in white nationalism. And she’s raked in money from a notorious anti-abortion activist who even tried to pass legislation to stop clinics from opening right here in Illinois.
We can’t let those folks take control of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. There’s too much on the line. Your donation will help us fund our television and digital ads to make sure we can spread our message and push back against the dishonest attacks.
