Black History Month 2024 is coming to an end, but our work to support Yvette – New York’s ONLY Black woman in Congress – doesn’t stop!
Many of you already know this, but Yvette is uniquely positioned as an advocate for Black and marginalized communities around the country. She’s currently serving her first term as the First Vice Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus – which has fought to protect immigrant rights, reform our criminal justice system, and more.
It’s critical that we keep leaders like Yvette in Washington so she can continue to work on the issues that matter most to the Black community, not just in Brooklyn but around the country.
Thank you for being part of this people-powered movement!
Team Clarke
Yvette Clarke is the ONLY Black woman representing New York in Washington. She has a known track record of bringing together moderates and progressives to pass progressive legislation to help communities of color, low-income families, immigrants, and more. If you'd like only the most important updates, you can opt for fewer emails here, but if you don't want to keep Yvette proudly representing Brooklyn, you can unsubscribe.
