Senator Ted Cruz has been one of the most effective conservatives in the U.S. Senate since the day he was sworn in. But this year, conservatives have to fight to keep him there. 
Ted Cruz is the Senate Democrats’ #1 target in 2024.
The Left is already pouring millions into Texas to take him down. The national and local media are ready to smear Cruz and promote his opponent. And, of course, the Republican Establishment won’t lift a finger to help him.
All this was true before a new poll showed the Texas Senate race a dead heat: 44 percent for Cruz, 44 percent for his top Democrat challenger, Congressman Colin Allred, and 12 percent undecided. 
With President Biden in obvious decline, many Democrats see the Senate as the most important election of 2024. If Democrats keep control there, they can block Donald Trump’s nominees, judges, and America First agenda.
To hold the Senate, though, Democrats have to beat Ted Cruz. That means to win the Senate, conservatives have to defend him. 
In 2024, Texas and Ted Cruz are conservatives’ Alamo.
