Dear Friend,
We are navigating unprecedented times as a Jewish community and as
a country. The stakes of the impending presidential election are as
high as they’ve ever been for our democracy and our community, and the
ongoing war in Israel and Gaza continues to exact unimaginable
loss.
At Bend the Arc, we are committed to the continuous evolution and
responsiveness of our strategies to meet the moment we’re in and
position ourselves to do our most impactful work. That’s why
we’re asking for your help today: we need more information about what
you — our supporters and stakeholders — believe and care about most
right now.
To that end, we have created a survey to hear from you
about a range of issues, including your perspectives and
experiences around antisemitism, your domestic issue priorities, and
how you are orienting to the political landscape post-October 7th.
And, while our work remains focused in the US, we know that the war
in Israel and Gaza continues to significantly impact the domestic
landscape. As such, we’ve also included questions about your views on
Israel and Palestine. We intend to use this data to better understand
what the people who make up Bend the Arc think and feel right now, and
to help us make more informed and responsive choices.
This survey is open to everyone in our base (including
folks who do not identify as Jewish) until Tuesday, March 5th and
should take you about 10-15 minutes to complete. You will not be
required to provide your name or any personal information, and the
results will be reviewed in aggregate, with no personally attributable
information or quotes shared publicly. We are seeking your
thoughts and perspectives as an individual; you need not list any
organizational affiliations in responding, and we understand that your
responses may or may not reflect the institutions with whom you are
affiliated.
We thank you in advance for filling out the survey and
helping us better understand our community’s
perspective.
With gratitude,
