Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is a big problem. Under his leadership, the U.S. Postal Service continues to experience price increases, slower delivery, facility closures, and lost jobs. Consumers are suffering, and the very existence of the USPS is at stake. DeJoy needs to go!
The only body with the power to remove DeJoy is the USPS Board of Governors–not the President. However, what President Biden can and must do is appoint members to the Board who will oust DeJoy. In fact, Biden can nominate two new public servants to the two open seats on the Board.
We are fed up with DeJoy’s mismanagement of the USPS. We will not stand for further destruction to our public institution under DeJoy’s leadership. President Biden must take action to have DeJoy removed.
