Dear Friend,
Have you submitted your intentions for His Eminence Raymond Cardinal Burke to include in his Operation Storm Heaven Holy Mass and Rosary, that will be streamed live from the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin?
Mark your calendar to join Rosary Warriors across the world next Friday, the 1st of March, at 7:00 AM Central Time in the United States. You will be able to assist at the Holy Mass, followed by His Eminence reciting the Holy Rosary, which will air LIVE on the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe website as well as Catholic Action's Facebook platform. Even though the Church is in the Season of Lent, First Friday is still the time to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus with our prayers and sacrifices and make reparation for the sins and offenses that wound His Sacred Heart.
March is the month dedicated to St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church. When we pray the Holy Rosary, we meditate upon St. Joseph twice in the Joyful Mysteries: The Blessed Mother and St. Joseph presenting the Child Jesus in the Temple, in the Fourth Joyful Mystery, as well as the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph finding the Child Jesus in the Temple, in the Fifth Joyful Mystery.
Cardinal Burke has spoken about St. Joseph’s dual role as the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and foster father and legal guardian of Jesus:
“St. Joseph in a unique manner has this secondary role of cooperation, next to the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the work of our redemption by his virginal marriage to Mary and the virginal fatherhood of God the Son”
“He is a coworker with the Virgin Mary in the redemptive work of the Incarnation, as we are all called to be, although not in the unique way of St. Joseph.”
As you prepare your intentions for the Operation Storm Heaven Holy Mass and Rosary, offered by Cardinal Burke on March 1, please consider the following:
~ In reparation for the scandalous and sinful behavior committed during the funeral held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, on February 15.
~ That you and I may commit to listen to the Word of God more and discern His will for ourselves and our families, just like St. Joseph did, by turning off all noise, quieting our hearts and entering into silence.
~ For the purification and sanctification for all priests, especially those who are struggling with sexual temptations and chastity.
~ That fathers will strive to imitate the virtues of St. Joseph, especially the virtue of patience.
~ For all couples who are dating, may St. Joseph help them to grow in chastity before the Sacrament of Marriage.
