Friend,
One year ago this month, Quinn met with the congressman from her home district—Pete Stauber—to try to build support for the diabetes community.
To her surprise, he expressed an interest in championing our cause. Quinn left the meeting excited and quickly emailed his staff. Unfortunately, his responses were lacking, and in the end, he promised a lot but ultimately never followed through.
Quinn wasn’t intending on running for Congress. But when her own congressman lied to her face, she knew she was done sitting on the sidelines. It’s time our district had a leader ready to act on their promises, not break them. Donate to Quinn’s $10,500 End-of-Quarter goal to help us win:

Here’s the situation we’re facing: Pete Stauber has not been shy about accepting money from pharmaceutical and health insurance PACs. This has put him at an advantage in his fundraising. When you’ve got deep pockets from Big Pharma on your side, money isn’t a problem.
That makes us the underdog, but Quinn is used to being underestimated. The truth is, people power can outwork big money anytime, and with you and the rest of our grassroots supporters on our side, we’re not worried.
We’ve set a $10,500 goal for End-of-Quarter, and we’re relying on our digital donors to help us get there. Will you chip in $5, $25, $50, or the most generous amount you’re able by midnight tonight?
Thank you—with your help, we’re going to elect MN-08 a congresswoman who doesn’t work on broken promises and false advocacy.
Team Quinn
P.S. Everyone here on Team Quinn understands how hard these times are. Yes, we need funds. But if you are worried about losing your job, are already unemployed, have seen your savings evaporate, or are feeling financially unstable in any way, take care of yourself and your family first and know that we understand. We’re all in this together.
