Hello John,

To those of you who attended the SPARK Youth Arts Festival last week, thank you for joining us for a week of celebrating the inspiring world of youth arts practice in Ireland! Make sure to keep an eye out in the coming weeks for the recordings of our online events so you can watch them back in full.

During the festival, we officially launched
the 2024 Artist and Youth Work Residency Grant Scheme ([link removed]) and it is now open for applications!

* The deadline for applications is Friday, March 29th at 12pm
* FAQ sessions to support you are on Tuesday, March 5th from 12pm – 1pm ([link removed]) and Wednesday, March 6th from 3pm – 4pm ([link removed])

Do you have a good idea for a youth arts project in your youth group but need funding to work with an artist?

This long-running scheme managed by NYCI on behalf of the Arts Council and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth has been successfully bringing together young people, artists, and youth workers over the past number of years to create exciting and meaningful youth arts residencies.

There are two types of grant available:
* Youth Arts Explorer grants of up to €1,500 for those starting out and
* Artist and Youth Work Residency grants of up to €5,000 for those with a little more experience.
