Dear John,

Compassion is more than just a feeling. It is a movement to make things right.

It calls to sacrifice our own time and resources to help those who often cannot help themselves. In so doing we exhibit the very heart of God toward humanity.

When we were poor, wounded, and broken, Jesus came and served us. He paid the debt we could not pay to make us whole again.

Together we can take this message to the world, not just in what we say, but especially in how we act. How will you serve someone in need today?

Praises and Prayers

Pray for the staff, students, and volunteers who will soon be traveling to serve people in the toughest places through vision clinics, agriculture workshops, and other humanitarian projects.
Pray for the nine shipments of critical aid that will be going to eight countries over the next three months. Pray that God will use the aid to meet immediate physical needs and to open doors for spiritual conversations to take place.
Praise God for how He is opening doors in closed countries and other tough places where people have never heard about Jesus. In more and more countries, humanitarian aid is the only reason ministry is allowed to continue.
