Friend,
Today is the Presidential Primary Election in Michigan!
“We finally have the rare and exceptionally important status of being an early primary state. Which is why on Feb. 27, I know that Michigan is going to make all of us proud.” – U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg
Michigan is an early nominating state this year which means the voices of our diverse state are stronger in the presidential nominating process. We must turn out in large numbers to the polls and use our voice.
Team MDP wants to make sure you're prepared to cast your ballot today no matter how you choose to vote this election day.
If you are registered to vote at your current address, you can vote at your designated polling place from 7AM - 8AM. Find your polling place here.
If you are not registered to vote, you can register today and cast an absentee ballot at your local clerk’s office. Find your local clerk’s office here. You will need to bring a “proof of residency” document with you which can be a state I.D., a bank statement, or a utility bill.
If you have your absentee ballot, make sure you drop it off ASAP! You can return it to your local clerk’s office or at a secure drop box. Your completed ballot must be dropped off by 8 p.m. and received by your city or township clerk.
If you have any questions when it comes to voting, visit the Michigan Voter Portal or call the Hotline: 1 (833) MI-VOTES or (833-648-6837)
Thank you for making your voice heard!
