As the winter season draws to a close, we want to extend our gratitude for your
unwavering generosity and support, friend. Thanks to you,
we've been able to make meaningful strides in our work to advance justice for
immigrants. Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve been up to:

---

Challenging unjust laws:

In January, we secured a significant legal victory in Indiana alongside the ACLU
of Indiana, where a federal judge ordered the state to stop denying driver's
licenses and identification cards to eligible residents under federal
humanitarian protection, based on their country of origin.

Because of this win, Indianans with humanitarian parole, regardless of their
country of origin, can now obtain driver’s licenses and state IDs!

However, our work is far from over. We're closely monitoring a concerning bill
in the Indiana legislature that threatens to reverse our hard-fought victory and
strip individuals granted humanitarian protection of their right to obtain
driver's licenses and state IDs. Stay tuned for more updates.

Fighting for workers’ rights:

We celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Biden administration’s
groundbreaking labor-based deferred action policy — a policy we've advocated for
tirelessly over the past decade. This policy has already empowered thousands of workers to report unsafe
conditions without fear of deportation.

Our 50+ trainings have equipped workers, organizers, advocates, and attorneys in
every state with the information necessary to begin using labor-based deferred
action.

Standing up against anti-immigrant bills in Congress:

We participated in several rallies on Capitol Hill, urging senators to reject some of the most extreme anti-immigrant legislation
proposed in nearly a century.

With a standing-room-only crowd at one of the rallies, we demonstrated the true
power of the people, sending a clear message that we will not stand for a bill
that seeks to use immigrants as political bargaining chips.

---

We’re incredibly proud of all of our work so far. But there's more we can do,
and we’re counting on you to help us make it all happen.

It's more important than ever that we have the resources to fight on behalf of
immigrant communities and protect our rights. If you're able, please consider
making a donation. Your support makes our work possible. >>>
