In an effort to follow the latest CDC guidelines, we are postponing all in-person events for the time being. This will directly affect our fundraising efforts, and we are leaning on this grassroots team to close the gap. Friend, if you're able, please consider pitching in to help us elect the next Black wave in November. Your generosity and understanding during this difficult time is sincerely appreciated.
"When we show up, act boldly, and practice the best ways to be wrong, we fail forward. No matter where we end up, we’ve grown from where we began." -- Stacey Abrams

Friend,
When looking at the progressive movement as a whole, Black women are the heart and soul. We saw this with Stacey Abrams' joyous and revolutionary run in Georgia's 2018 gubernatorial race that ignited a movement in the South. We saw this proven again when more Black women than ever before were elected to Congress in 2018, including Reps. Lucy McBath, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley.
Black women will continue to lead the way in the next blue wave. And The Collective is determined to make sure we are in the prime position to support and elect Black women up and down the ticket in November, again.
It's Women's History Month, and while we look back and celebrate the trailblazers that came before us, help us elect the next blue wave and protect the seats of the countless women who are already defending our democracy in the House, Senate, and at the state-level. Donate today.
The 116th Congress includes more Black women than any other Congress in American history. There’s no limit to what they can accomplish. But we're not done fighting to put Black women in office.
Right now, there is still only one Black woman serving in the Senate. Our nation can and will do better, so it's critical we help elect even more leaders in November.
During this Women's History Month, let's commit to electing Black women who can strengthen our democracy and fight for the issues most important to our communities. Contribute $5 or whatever you can today.
Thank you,
The Collective Team
The Collective is strengthening our democracy by addressing the underrepresentation of Black Americans in public office. To help The Collective build Black political power in 2020, rush support today.
