Here are some recent updates.

• New York's Democratic-controlled Legislature rejected new congressional districts proposed by the state's independent redistricting commission. Democrats are expected to introduce their own map.

• The Delaware Superior Court struck down laws allowing for a permanent absentee voting list and 10 days of early voting, ruling the laws violate the state constitution.

• After withdrawing its election lawsuit in Maricopa County, Arizona 16 days after filing it, Stephen Miller’s legal group filed a nearly identical case in Yavapai County. Maricopa argues the group's actions are a "thinly-veiled attempt to forum shop."

• A group of New Jersey Democrats, led by U.S. Senate candidate and current Rep. Andy Kim, filed a lawsuit arguing that the state's primary ballot design unconstitutionally favors candidates who are supported by party leaders.

• The U.S. Supreme Court did not issue orders about Arkansas' congressional map or former President Donald Trump's immunity claims today. However, the Court could release an order on the immunity issue at any time.

Here’s what to expect tomorrow.

• Trial will continue in a federal lawsuit challenging the at-large system used for electing members to Dodge City, Kansas’ local government. The plaintiffs allege that the at-large system dilutes Latino voting power in violation of the Voting Rights Act.
