Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, lawmakers throughout the country have introduced and passed dangerous legislation to restrict women’s reproductive rights.

Virginia remains the only state in the South where abortion hasn’t been restricted, despite Governor Glenn Youngkin saying he would “gleefully” sign any law restricting abortion access.

With bordering Southern states continuing to enact abortion restrictions, this bill would protect women who come into Virginia from states where abortion is illegal.
