John,
Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese just published an op-ed in USA today to speak to the nation and urge Michigan primary voters to vote uncommitted in tomorrow’s Michigan election to send a message for Peace to President Biden:
“Nearly 30,000 civilians have been killed in Gaza, mostly women and children, and yet the Biden administration continues to break with the majority of the Democratic base to align with – and fund – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing government. Is this worth risking Donald Trump’s return to the White House and the end of American democracy?”
This is the latest in our push to urge President Biden to change course: his complicity in the death and destruction in Gaza is unacceptable and could cost him the general election in November. Will you help spread our message by sharing Joseph’s tweet and op-ed?
President Biden has made unilateral decisions to send over $250 billion in weapons to Israel while Netanyahu’s bombing campaigns killed tens of thousands of civilians. Last week, the Biden administration again vetoed a UN ceasefire resolution.
The carnage in Gaza needs to end. The president must be a peacemaker to save lives and begin stitching back together the coalition needed to defeat Trump in November. It all starts with making progressive voices heard in the primaries in Michigan and beyond.
Please share Joseph’s tweet with his USA Today op-ed so your friends and family in Michigan and across the country know what's at stake in this primary election. Let’s send a message to Biden in Michigan and beyond.
When we organize, we win.
