Patriot, The Deep State always tries to intimidate you and me into accepting warrantless mass surveillance and other tyrannical policies with the threat of vague, unspecified, unverifiable threats. And it’s always just a big lie. Inside sources recently revealed the “new Russian national security threat” story from two weeks ago was nothing more than a cynical ploy to prevent warrant provisions from being added to Section 702 of FISA. The bogus headlines blared, “U.S. officials say Russia has deployed a nuclear weapon in space!”. . . . . . but in reality, the story was based on old intelligence that came to nothing. In other words, it was not a clear and present danger. The whole story was a false alarm to prevent restoration of our Fourth Amendment rights and the neutering of Section 702. The deceptive report started with an internal email blast from one congressman to members of Congress about this supposed “urgent threat.” A whistleblower has now said the whole purpose of this email was to cause panic – and prevent the House from adopting amendments to rein in the unconstitutional, warrantless surveillance program. We called it, and now we’ve been proven right. But House leadership needs to know you weren’t fooled by DEMANDING they have a clean vote to end mass warrantless surveillance. The Deep State fears they can’t reauthorize this mass spying program on a clean floor vote. That’s why they’re looking to slip it into a “must-pass” budget bill. Patriot, the fact that House leadership is resorting to this tactic means your continued pressure is paying off. All the more reason we need to increase the pressure even more. That’s why it’s crucial you send your directive to Speaker Johnson, Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), and Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) demanding they stop playing games and have a clean vote on the House floor to END warrantless mass surveillance. The Surveillance State shills are desperate. The House Intelligence Committee’s stunt last week was the equivalent of pulling a false fire alarm to shut down business. When they’re resorting to desperate tactics like this, we know we’re winning. And that’s why it’s time to double down and fight even harder! I’m looking forward to personally dropping your signed directives on their desks later this week . . . I only wish I had twice as many to deliver. Please sign your directive right now – it only takes a few seconds. And then, after you’ve signed your directive, please consider your most generous contribution to Campaign for Liberty, which helps us reach and mobilize more patriots like you. Can you give a gift of $25, $50, or even $100 today? $50 will allow us to reach even more Americans to warn and activate them into action to fight the Surveillance State and their shills on the Intelligence Committee. If you’re able to give $500 or more, we can use social media and traditional media to reach even more people. Whatever amount you can give, every bit helps, and your help today is crucial. Please act now. For Liberty, John McCardell Executive Director Campaign for Liberty P.S. The Surveillance State shills in the House are so desperate they’re sending out false national security alarms to members of Congress. That means your action is working! We must DEMAND our lawmakers restore our constitutional privacy protections and STOP the 702 abuses before it gets renewed or even expanded. That’s why I’m counting on you to please sign your STOP THE SURVEILLANCE STATE directive, so I can deliver it to Republican leadership personally.
