Did you hear the news out of Alabama? A conservative judge cited Christian theology and quoted Bible verses in his ruling that frozen embryos, used in IVF procedures, were “persons” and therefore children. 

This is exactly the future that Republicans like Troy Balderson want to create: it’s why he is a proud supporter of the national “Right to Life at Conception” bill. 

Balderson’s Life at Conception bill recognizes a “right to life guaranteed by the Constitution” for human beings “at all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization.” 

Under this legislation, a newly-fertilized egg (as is the process for in-vitro fertilization) has the same rights as a 22 year-old adult.

This is extremism and Christian nationalism on a whole different level—and with the Alabama court ruling throwing the lives of thousands of hopeful parents-to-be into utter chaos and despair, we see yet another example of how extreme MAGA lunatics like Balderson are asserting radical state control over Americans’ private lives. 

Every sponsor of this legislation must be held accountable for their abhorrent and extreme views. My team and I are going hard against Balderson for his support for the Alabama IVF ruling and other dangerous positions, but we need your help to get this message to every single persuadable voter.
