Since we were in touch last, two more attacks on abortion rights have cropped up in the Kansas Statehouse, for a grand total of NINE proposed restrictions . Senate Bill 528/House Bill 2814 doubles down on an unconstitutional law that delays abortion access, and Senate Bill 527/House Bill 2813 undercuts patients’ decision-making ability and further stigmatizes abortion as requiring extraordinary – and inaccurate – political oversight.

Bans, delays, privacy rollbacks, tax and child support changes-it’s a confusing mess, but the big picture is clear: extreme politicians want to undo our decisive vote for abortion rights in August 2022. Fight back and tell your legislator our history won’t be rewritten by joining our partners at a lobby day from 9am to 3pm on Tuesday, March 5. You can find more information and RSVP here [[link removed]] .
