John, I’m finally at that age: I’m touring colleges all throughout the country, and I’ll be touring even more in the coming weeks!
The colleges I’ve been touring look more like mini cities than just schools. Thousands of students in a dense area, with everything you could possibly need within walking distance!
But John, I can’t stop thinking about this one statistic as I’m walking among all these college kids:
In 2016, 24% of eligible college students were not registered to vote – and even when students ARE registered, there are all kinds of reasons they either don’t or CAN’T cast a ballot.
John, this is why VOT exists. We’re working to make sure that every young person in this country is not just registered to vote, but also exercising their right to vote!
