New State Projects Expected to Create 1,171 Jobs,
$269 Million in Investments?

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)??Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted today announced the approval of eight projects set to create 1,171 new jobs and retain 3,635 jobs statewide. ?

During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. The projects are expected to result in more than $101 million in new payroll and spur $269 million in investments across Ohio.??

*CENTRAL*?

*Quality Logistics, LLC, City of Columbus (Franklin County), *expects to create 50 full-time positions, generating more than $3.5 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company?s expansion project in Columbus. Quality Logistics specializes in long-haul trucking of fresh, frozen, and dry shipments, including live plants in temperature-controlled trailers. The proposed project supports leasing 6,500 square feet of space to facilitate the company?s growth as it enters new markets. TCA approved a 1.435 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.???

*NORTHEAST*?

*Ark Transportation, Ltd.; Delivered Inc.; Veroot LLC, City of Strongsville (Cuyahoga County), *expects to create 103 full-time positions, generating $8.8 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the companies? consolidation in Strongsville. Ark Transportation is a domestic and international logistics and distribution company, Veroot manages software, and Delivered performs warehousing and packaging for end-to-end delivery. The proposed project includes consolidation of the three companies? operations under a single roof to accommodate rapid growth. TCA approved a 1.767 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.??

*The James B Oswald Company, City of Cleveland (Cuyahoga County),* expects to create 88 full-time positions, generating more than $10.9 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company?s expansion in Cleveland. The Oswald Company offers property and casualty, employee benefits, personal client management, retirement plan services, and life insurance business units services across eight market locations and family of partner companies. The proposed project includes the company acquiring office space in a vacant building in downtown Cleveland. TCA approved a 2.21 percent, nine-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.??

*Schaeffler Transmission, LLC, City of Dover (Tuscarawas County) and City of Wooster (Wayne County), *expects to create 650 full-time positions, generating $54 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company?s new location in Dover and expansion in Wooster. Schaeffler Transmissions designs and manufactures drive train components and systems for internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicle applications. The proposed project includes a new e-mobility production facility in Dover to address the demand for electric vehicles. The new location will complement and contribute to the growth of the existing domestic research and development and manufacturing operations in Wooster. TCA approved a 2.228 percent, 15-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.?

*TTM Technologies North America, LLC, North Jackson Township (Mahoning County),* expects to create 50 full-time positions, generating more than $2.2 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company?s expansion in North Jackson Township. TTM is a leading global manufacturer of technology solutions, including engineered systems, radio frequency components, microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and printed circuit boards. The proposed project will support growth at the existing location and consolidate facilities outside of Ohio to increase operation efficiencies. TCA approved a 1.139 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.??

*SOUTHEAST*?

*DPC Fabrication, LLC, Orange Township (Meigs County), *expects to create 45 full-time positions, generating more than $3.7 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company?s new location in Orange Township. DPC Fabrication is a fabricator of pipe materials, including copper, stainless steel, and various plastics, into customs parts for industrial customers. The proposed project will allow DPC Fabrication to acquire an additional building and increase its capacity to manufacture new custom products to meet increased demand. TCA approved a 1.502 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.??

*Holmes Siding Contractors, LTD, Killbuck Township and the Village of Millersburg (Holmes County) and City of Newark (Licking County),* expects to create 60 full-time positions, generating $5.9 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company?s new location in Killbuck Township and expansion in Millersburg and Newark. Holmes Siding Contractors manufactures aluminum building products and sells them to distributors across the U.S. The proposed project will support the construction of a new manufacturing facility to meet growing demand, serve new customers, and implement a comprehensive growth plan. TCA approved a 1.749 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.??

*SOUTHWEST*?

*Cintas Corporate Service, Inc. and Cintas Corporation No. 2, City of Mason (Warren County),* expect to create 125 full-time positions, generating $12.5 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company?s expansion in Mason. Cintas designs, manufactures, and implements corporate identity uniforms and provides entrance mats, restroom supplies, tile and carpet cleaning, promotional products, first aid, safety, fire production products, and document management services. The proposed project includes the renovation of the company headquarters for a back-to-office transition. TCA approved a 2.11 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.??
