Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund endorsed my campaign to represent MI-10 in Congress!

I am so incredibly grateful for their support. My roots in the gun violence prevention space began as a Moms Demand Action volunteer because I knew I needed to act after the worst day of my family’s life.

In November 2021, my son survived a mass shooting at his school, and not knowing if he was dead or alive were the worst moments of my life. So when our district's representative did nothing to protect our community in the face of this tragedy, I knew I had to roll up my sleeves and act.

Today, Everytown joins national organizations GIFFORDS PAC, Brady PAC, and Ban Assault Weapons Now in supporting my mission to finally put our safety first. The community I have found in my fellow advocates, activists, and survivors keeps me motivated to bring this fight to Washington every single day.

I am so honored to receive their recognition, and I am excited to continue on this critical work together.
