Recognizing Innovative Home Visiting Support in TexasThe Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) has partnered with Start Early since 2015 to deliver professional learning to more than 1,000 home visitors spanning five evidence-based models. DFPS uses innovative strategies to communicate regularly about the available courses and how they support competency development and career pathways. The agency has seen high completion rates and is strengthening the identity of home visitors across the state. Start Early recently recognized DFPS for their best practices in statewide engagement and strategic communication at the National Home Visiting Summit in D.C.
