Omnipod 5 Added to Medicaid, CHIP Formularies

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved the Medicaid state plan amendment on Feb. 15, 2024, allowing HHSC to add Omnipod 5 to the formulary. Beginning Mar. 4, 2024, pharmacies can dispense Omnipod 5 products in managed care and fee-for-service with a valid prescription.
