When young people are bullied in school based on identity characteristics inherent to who they are, they can feel scared, excluded and marginalized. In addition, others around them who identify in the same way may worry that they’ll be targeted next.

This can deeply impact how they feel about themselves, about school and beyond. 

This 20-minute mini-lesson was developed as an additional resource to the video and discussion guide "Centering Youth Voices: Addressing Identity-Based Bullying" in partnership with Human Rights Campaign and Choose Kindness Project.
