February 2024 NEWSLETTER Who We Are Our Mission Pro-Hamas Jewish supporters (image credit: AP) As antisemitism is spreading across America, many Jews are bravely standing up in support of Israel and against antisemitism. However, a loud minority of leftist Jewish extremists have abandoned their fundamental Jewish values, calling for the destruction of the State of Israel in the name of “justice”. Organizations like Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), which are not so Jewish, not for peace, and IfNotNow (INN) are rallying in pro-Hamas marches and blatantly supporting antisemitic ideologies. What these self-hating Jews fail to understand is that they are being used by antisemites to justify and propel their own Jewish hatred. In our most recent article, Anti-Zionist Jews are Fringe Voices – It’s Time We Ridicule Them, published this month, we highlight the tokenization of Israel-hating Jews like JVP and INN to promote their own radical agendas. These self-proclaimed Jewish organizations that call for the destruction of the Jewish state are ignoring one crucial fact: antisemites hate all Jews, not just pro-Israel Jews. They do not realize that if the State of Israel ceases to exist, their political alliances will not protect them. The solution, as we highlighted in the article, is to push these voices aside, ridicule them, and come together with allies who support Israel and are aligned with our Judeo-Christian values. In a previously published article from 2018, right after the Pittsburgh massacre, Are We Going to Allow the Jewish People to be Divided and Conquered from Within? we recognized how, even back six year ago, Jews who allied themselves with organizations like JVP and INN were fragmenting the Jewish community. We acknowledged that these self-hating Jews are used as a way for our enemies attack us from the inside and promote their radical agendas. "Get two Jews in a room, get three opinions. True of most things, but one thing most Jews agree on is that Israel is the indigenous homeland of the Jewish people and that their connection to it is a core tenet of their Jewish identity. Despite this majoritarian view, there is a loud minority of radical anti-Israel Jewish voices. Although unrepresentative of the broad Jewish community, our detractors and the media weaponize them, turning them into “token Jews” used to attack Israel and sow division within the Jewish community. It’s time we ignore them." This article was originally published in the Jerusalem Post on December 26, 2018. "The year 2018 has provided a series of reminders that antisemitism, the world’s oldest hatred, is alive and well in our country. In October, 11 Jews were massacred in Pittsburgh as they prayed on the Sabbath. It is just the latest in a series of violent attacks that have targeted the Jewish community in recent times, which come not only from the radical right but also from the radical left, and from radical Muslims. The enemies of the Jewish people don’t only physically attack us from the outside. They have also long worked to divide the Jewish people by turning our own against us. For example, a number of Jewish individuals and organizations have become leaders within the BDS movement, which seeks to destroy the Jewish state." Read More Spotlight Organization Since the outset of Oct. 7, TPS, the Press Service of Israel (formerly known as Tazpit Press Services), has been navigating the international media war on Israel. Since the initial reports of war, TPS was on the frontlines: in Gaza, Sderot and Zikim, their photographers and employees mobilized to defend the nation with photographs and words, amidst the onslaught of the media war and physical battle, with many volunteers (and one third of employees) called to duty as reserve soldiers. TPS CEO, Amotz Eyal, arrived in Sderot on Saturday, Oct. 7th, investigating alarming reports, ultimately calling in his IDF unit to defend the nation. TPS photojournalists, whether civilians or soldiers, volunteer to cover the scene of news events, no matter the situation, because they recognize the danger by not having the story come from an Israeli voice, local, and present, to convey the true story. TPS articles have been featured internationally, including coverage exposing UNRWA aid sacks within Hamas tunnels, releasing coverage from inside of Gazan marches against Hamas, and reporting that expanded within every area of the multi-front conflict, in the north, Khan Yunis, center, Judea/Samaria region, as well as covering all breaking news, as it happens. Committed to delivering unfiltered accounts straight from the scene of news events, Israel's news agency, TPS, has garnered over 4 billion article views in the last year, and continues to expand its global footprint disseminating authentic news to over 39 countries through a network of strategic partnerships. Their mission transcends borders, bridging the gap between Israel and the world, one headline at a time. Most critically, TPS has access to nations that Israeli news does not enter- knowing that with every relationship formed between TPS and various media networks in Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Europe, and Latin America, gaining individuals previously (totally) uninformed about the realities of the State of Israel and Israelis alike. Once again, the diaspora Jewish community finds its security in the hands of the news- both the largest tool and largest weapon. Through unwavering commitment to accuracy and timeliness, TPS remains steadfast in its pursuit of truth, as the eyes and ears on the ground in Israel, distributing the news to the international world. Join TPS in its mission to bring Israel's news, straight from the field to your news. Support TPS as we continue to amplify the voices of Israel and Israelis alike.
