What's Your Story?
Usually, some of us participate in the news, a few of us cover it, and the rest of us just watch.
That's not the case with the COVID-19 crisis. We're all part of the story—as residents told to stay away from the office or essential employees working on the front lines of the fight, parents of kids learning from home, consumers and workers in a tanking economy, possible carriers and potential victims of the virus.
City Limits has been covering this story, as we cover many things, with an emphasis on its impact on the most vulnerable. You see that reflected below in our stories from the past week about homeless students ([link removed][UNIQID]) and s ([link removed][UNIQID]) enior citizens ([link removed][UNIQID]) enduring lockdowns.
There is, however, much more to this story than we've been able report so far. You can help us understand better what's going on in the far corners of this city, to you and your social circles—medically, economically, socially.
Contribute your experiences here. ([link removed][UNIQID]) Don't worry if you don't think your experience is “newsworthy;” you, like me, are as much a part of this history we're living through as anyone.
You can also send us specific story tips (mailto:
[email protected]?subject=COVID-19%20story%20tip) and ideas for what to include on our growing Coronavirus Crisis Resource Page ([link removed][UNIQID]) .
Stay healthy and hopeful,
Jarrett Murphy, executive editor
