John, it's Katie, and I want to share something personal with you today.

But before I do: My February fundraising deadline is this Thursday, and I can’t meet my goal without your support. Can you pitch in any amount today?

Growing up, my family, like many middle-class families, went through periods of financial uncertainty.

An old family photo of Katie as a child sitting at a dining table with her parents and sister.

During those difficult times, we relied on support from government assistance programs and our church community. These resources were a lifeline for my family, and it was this experience that ignited my passion for service and giving back.

I began volunteering at my church, became a social worker, and eventually helped run one of the largest domestic violence shelters in the nation. It was through these experiences that I saw firsthand how elected officials can make a positive or negative impact on people's lives.

I saw families burdened by medical bills, scrambling to provide for their children, and often being forced to work multiple jobs to make ends meet.

It was then that I knew something had to change, so I decided to run for public office — and I haven’t lost an election since.

Now, as Arizona's 24th Governor, it's an honor to be in a position to make a difference and fight for Arizonans from all walks of life.

I'm focused on making housing and health care more affordable and accessible, and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to succeed, support their families, and live authentically.

This month, I announced the Arizona Is Home Mortgage Assistance Program, which will support homeowners throughout our state.

We also expanded children’s access to health care so that parents don’t have to worry about balancing bills and their children’s health.

But the work is far from over, and Republicans are hellbent on grinding progress to a halt. Grassroots supporters like you are the backbone of my campaign. Will you chip in $10 today to help me reach my February fundraising deadline?

Thank you for hearing me out today and for your support.
