Congresswoman Tenney's Weekly Newsletter   Have questions? Contact Me Here   President Biden MUST Take a Cognitive Test Our nation and the world continues to watch as President Biden forgets where he is, messes up the names of world leaders and even confuses Mexico and Egypt. The recent report from Special Counsel Hur, which described Biden as "a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory," is just the latest red flag. This report further confirms what we have all observed: President Biden has experienced a significant cognitive decline. It is obvious from these observations that President Biden is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office as President and Commander in Chief. Members of the Biden Administration and Democrats across the country claim that the President is as sharp as ever. If that's the case, they shouldn't be refusing calls for Biden to take a cognitive test. I recently sent a letter to the White House urging Biden to take a cognitive test. But I want to know your thoughts: Do you think President Biden should take a cognitive test? Do you think President Biden should take a cognitive test? Yes No President Biden Has the Power to End the Border Crisis—But Won't President Biden has the power to stop this invasion immediately, but he refuses to do so. Since Biden took office, there have been more encounters at the Southern Border than the population of 36 states. The Biden administration must do more than "imitate" the successful policies of the Trump Administration. Biden must immediately enact policies outlined by House Republican’s H.R.2, the Secure the Border Act, the strongest border bill ever voted on, which will work to combat this crisis. Defending Law Enforcement and Public Safety in New York Governor Hochul and Mayor Adam's anti-police, pro-migrant policies and rhetoric are putting our brave men and women in blue at risk. In 2023, New York had the largest number of law enforcement fatalities in the country, with 13 line-of-duty deaths. Our state can not continue to tolerate these attacks on our officers without consequences. It's the Democrats and their far-left policies that have caused the crime crisis in America. The skyrocketing crime rates have driven families and businesses out of our state at the second-fastest rate in the country. Governor Hochul should address this problem by: Ending cashless bail Repealing HALT Banning sanctuary cities Securing the Border Firing soft on crime prosecutors Fully supporting and funding the police Supporting Our Brave Law Enforcement Officers Our Law Enforcement Officers have faced unprecedented challenges in the wake of rising violent crime and the left’s efforts to undermine them. I hosted a roundtable discussion in Victor this week to hear from local law enforcement leaders about the challenges they face in the Finger Lakes Region and how I can ensure they receive the support and recourse they need to keep themselves and our communities safe. Thank you to the law enforcement leaders who participated in the event: Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Supervisor Addame Bookmiller, CBP Agent in Charge Juan Ramirez, Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schnek, Ontario County Sheriff David Cirencione, Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson, Wayne County Sheriff Robert Milby, Monroe County Undersheriff Korey Brown, Livingston County Captain Michael Williams, Auburn Correctional Facility Officer Nathan VeVone, Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Antonacci, Yates County District Attorney Todd Casella, Auburn Police Department Chief James Slayton, Dansville Police Department Chief Shannon Griese, Interlaken Police Department Chief Robert Dwello, Seneca Falls Police Department Interim Chief Timothy Snyder, Waterloo Police Department Chief James Chechak, Newark Police Department Chief Richard Martin, Palmyra Police Department Chief Kyle DiNardo, Penn Yan Police Department Chief Thomas Dunham, and Clyde Police Department Officer in Charge Thomas Connors. I remain dedicated to counteracting Albany Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies and the anti-police movement that has caused the complete breakdown of law and order that continues to put our brave law enforcement officers at risk! Thank You Panek Family Our team stopped by the Tropical Smoothie in Victor this week to congratulate the Panek Family on their recent acquisition of the business. As a former small business owner, I know the hard work and grit it takes to run and operate a business in New York State's challenging economy. I am committed to providing families like the Paneks with the support and resources necessary for their success! Thank you again to the Panek Family for hosting us and for the delicious smoothies.
