John,
Please join us in praying for the persecuted Church. In many countries, Christians suffer intense persecution that we can't fathom. The Apostle Peter promises hope to those suffering for their faith:
"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you." (1 Peter 5:10)
All Christians should take heart that God has a purpose for their suffering. He works through it to strengthen their faith. Though the pain might last "for a little while," the eternal benefits are innumerable.

We are fighting for the release of Shahzad Masih, a young Pakistani Christian on death row. He was wrongly convicted of blasphemy because of his Christian faith when he was 16. We just filed an emergency appeal to expedite his case at Pakistan's Supreme Court and are working at the U.N. to free him. Please pray that we can save Shahzad Masih's life.
If you haven't downloaded this quarter's 2024 ACLJ Prayer Guide, it's not too late. Inside, you will find devotions for spiritual encouragement and ways you can pray for our cases.
Get your copy today. And please prayerfully come alongside us in our fight to save Shahzad Masih.
