Results from a recent poll show us with a lead over our likely Republican opponent, Scott Baugh. This poll shows we are ahead of Baugh by a one-point margin of 43%-42%.

But it gets better: When voters hear about my background, our lead surges to a 14-point margin! This shows that when CA-47 voters learn about my plans to safeguard reproductive rights, protect our environment, and stand up to GOP attacks on Medicare and Social Security, we can win this race.


This poll proves we have what it takes to clinch this ultra-competitive seat for Democrats, and voters are fired up about our movement. But with 9 days until our primary election, we need the resources to ramp up our on-the-ground operations to spread the word.
