Friend --

All GPNY Members (enrolled New York State Greens and Supporting Members legally barred from registering to vote) are invited to participate in our presidential preference vote, either at our convention or by absentee ballot.Download, print, and mail to the address listed on the absentee ballot linked here. <[link removed]>Ballots must be postmarked by March 13th.

Greens will need to provide, with their ballot, information to enable verification of their Green Party enrollment or Supporting Member status.

There are three candidates on the GPNY absentee ballot: Jill Stein, Jorge Zavala, and Jasmine Sherman. GPNY’s State Committee decided in February that the candidates who met the Green Party of the United States criteria for official recognition on February 15, 2024 would be the candidates on the GPNY ballot. These three candidates are the ones who have met that benchmark.

A candidate forum between Stein, Sherman, and Zalava took place on February 20, and can be watched here. <[link removed]>

Please also plan to join us on Saturday, March 23rd for our State Nominating Convention! You can attend in person or via live stream.  Those who attend will be able to vote in person, and along with the absentee ballots we will count the votes and announce the winner of our presidential preference poll.  Delegates will then be nominated and elected to attend the Green Party National Convention scheduled to take place from July 11-14.

In solidarity,

Gloria & Peter
