Friends, our hard-earned tax dollars, the sweat of our brows, are subsidizing illegal criminal aliens while our own fellow Americans struggle.
While many hard-working Americans are losing their shirts, our government is using taxpayer dollars to hand out cell phones, luxurious hotel stays, and meals for criminals invading our country. Our tax dollars should support American businesses, not those who defy our laws.
Thankfully, The House heard our voices and passed The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024 [ [link removed] ], a lifeline for hardworking mom-and-pop businesses, and tireless workers, burning the midnight oil to make ends meet. The bill is not just a piece of legislation; it's a beacon of hope for small businesses on the brink of collapse.
This bill aims to resurrect jobs and provide relief to those who lost everything or are about to lose everything as numerous small businesses continue to face closure. Our businesses need this lifeline, our workers need this support, and we cannot let the needs of our own citizens take a backseat to those who break our laws.
