John, I’ve been writing and re-writing this email.

But, there’s no seeing this through rose-colored glasses. There’s no glass-half-full spin to be had. So, I’m just going to give you the honest truth.

We’re pacing to miss our pivotal February fundraising goal. This means I’m going to be left vulnerable and defenseless to the socialists running against me to flip Tennessee BLUE.

I promise I wouldn’t be bothering you if it weren’t dire. I only have a few days left to do a complete 180 on this month’s fundraising, so I’m hoping I can count on you.
