Jack, sign the petition: The GOP must end the baseless Biden impeachment.

In what proved to be a shock to no one, the GOP’s “highly credible source” that served as a basis for their impeachment inquiry into President Biden has now been charged for lying and falsifying those claims against the president and his son, Hunter.

To support the impeachment inquiry, GOP lawmakers cited conversations the confidential source, Alexander Smirnov, had with the FBI. He relayed that the head of Ukrainian energy company Burisma told him he had paid both President Biden and his son Hunter Biden $5 million. Smirnov made up these accusations and has now been arrested and charged with making false statements to the FBI.

While the GOP will likely ignore their responsibility in promoting these false accusations, they will also likely pivot and continue this baseless impeachment inquiry against President Biden.

This was never a serious investigation. It is a campaign strategy to support MAGA and appease Donald Trump–the GOP’s playbook is to distract voters during an election season as opposed to actually working for the people, as they were elected to do.

Enough with the GOP’s dirty tricks! Our officials were elected to represent and work for the people, not to grandstand and campaign for MAGA while they waste time and money. It's time House Republicans stop their baseless impeachment against President Biden and focus their time and energy on working for the people in 2024.
