DEAR FRIENDS,
CALLS DESPERATELY NEEDED AS 15,000 PIGEONS ARE BEING SLAUGHTERED!
Please call the club on Sunday and let them know that you know what they are doing and ask that they stop hosting the pigeon shoots. Please be professional and courteous at all times. The phone number for the Quail Creek Sporting Ranch is (863) 763-2529. The club opens Sunday at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
Troy Link, the president and chief executive officer of Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, owns the Quail Creek Sporting Ranch, a shooting club in Okeechobee, Florida.
Yesterday and today, Link and more than a hundred wealthy guests spent their time blasting shotguns at live pigeons tossed out of boxes in front of them. They plan to continue the slaughter tomorrow.
It is estimated that Link and his wealthy, but morally bankrupt friends will slaughter some 15,000 pigeons this weekend at the five shooting rings shown. Boys are hired to load and retrieve the pigeons, and as is the case at all pigeon shoots, these sick young people will brutalize many of them out of boredom and sheer sadism. Many wounded animals will be left to suffer for hours or days in the surrounding brush until they succumb to their injuries, infection, predation, starvation, or exposure.
Link and his fellow creeps may live at the upper end of the income scale, but they are the bottom dwellers of the human gene pool. These cowardly killers know this unsporting massacre is repugnant to real people, so they did everything possible to keep it secret. Unfortunately for the rotten bunch, we are exposing their cruel secret. SHARK and Animal Wellness Action are teaming up to educate the world about Jack Link’s CEO.
Troy Link’s company depends on public goodwill to sell his line of meat products, and we must let him know that he can’t use his profits to fund such hideous exercises in savagery. The wealthy son of Jack Link’s founder should know better. He doesn’t seem to, so let’s educate him.
