Over the years, I’ve had a lot of harsh words for a cowardly fella named Kevin McCarthy – one of the worst House Speakers in American history. But I think Kevin McCarthy has officially met his match in Speaker Mike Johnson.

These two are neck-and-neck in a spineless coward competition. Kevin McCarthy sold out to the extremist fringe of the GOP. Mike Johnson IS the extremist fringe of the GOP.

Kevin McCarthy believes in…well, nothing. Mike Johnson believes in a lot of bizarre things – for example, that same-sex marriage will lead to the collapse of civilization.

They BOTH voted to overturn the 2020 election. They’re both dangerously incompetent.

They both threaten women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color, our climate, seniors, the international balance of power, democracy…the list goes on and on.

As if we needed another reason to flip the House and evict the GOP from leadership.

I’m hoping that you’ll chip in $25 here to elect a pro-science, pro-choice Democratic majority. Let’s cut this coward competition short.
