For 75 years, NATO has kept the peace.

It was a peace brokered by strength — by a mutual commitment between European and American democracies to defend one another. Not perfect, but an incredible achievement.

That peace is at risk.

Russia invaded Ukraine on this day two years ago. That invasion led to bipartisan cooperation and a massive humanitarian and military aid package aimed at helping Ukraine fight off Russian invaders and defend its people.

Over the last two years that bipartisan cooperation has degraded. Republicans in the House and Senate take their orders from Trump, and Trump seems to take his directly from Putin.

Puppets for Putin, whose imperialist aims put the whole of Europe at risk. Putin will not stop. If he succeeds in conquering Ukraine he will move on to the Baltic States, Finland, Poland. NATO states.

And if that happens, it would cause World War III. That conflict will not spare American troops and American families.

VoteVets was founded by Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan. We worked for years to stop those wars, and to make sure Veterans got the care they earned when they came home.

We know war. That’s why we’re working to prevent the next one.

And we need your help.

Please, help us push Congressional Republicans to pass aid for Ukraine. Add your name and demand action. We have to help them hold the line, because there is too much at risk to let them fall.
