Hi, it’s Congressman-elect Tom Suozzi here.

Last week, I won the special election to replace expelled former Congressman George Santos in New York’s Third Congressional District. It only happened because of grassroots supporters like you!

I’ll be honest – this was a tough election. Going into Election Day, the polls had my Republican opponent and me neck-and-neck. National Republicans spent nearly $8.1 million to hold onto this seat.

But we won, because you helped spread our winning message – that using common sense and finding common ground is how we can solve our country’s biggest problems. Once I’m sworn into Congress, I’ll work with anyone to break through the gridlock and move America forward.

My people-powered victory was just the first step in rebuilding a House majority that will deliver for working people and families. In order to do that we need everyone reading this to step up. I'm asking personally: Can you chip in $5 to support the DCCC so we can replicate this week’s incredible victory across districts nationwide?

The DCCC was critical in winning my race. Together, we:
Made early investments in on-the-ground organizing and knocked on over 200,000 doors.
Dominated the airwaves to hold Republicans accountable.
Combatted harmful misinformation and hit back at National Republicans’ divisive message head-on.
But this work must continue. Right now, the folks at the DCCC are fighting to build a U.S. House that works on behalf of the People.

Last Tuesday’s election is the beginning of a massive grassroots movement that will bring sanity and common sense back to the House.

This election showed America what can happen when this grassroots team is firing on all cylinders. National Republicans are going to come after us with EVERYTHING THEY HAVE this November, but if folks like you chip in $5, or whatever you can spare right now, we can beat back their attacks and achieve more victories just like we did in New York’s Third District.
