I am not a politician. I am an expert in disaster management and emergency management and counterterrorism. I have written several books on these topics, and have a Ph.D. as well.



In other words, when it comes to the Coronavirus outbreak, I can tell truth from fiction; hype from reality.

Looking at the reaction by some blue states, I'd have to say that their instinct seems to be to deprive us of as many liberties as possible!



Coronavirus is serious, especially for the elderly and immune compromised. But the disease has limitations too. The disease hates heat, for instance - meaning it cannot survive in Florida.



But you have peaceful assembly being banned, gun rights being revoked, stores and restaurants being shuttered, all for an "Emergency declaration" - do these Blue State governors and mayors even have the right to do this?



More importantly- is it necessary or wise to destroy our economy and deprive us of our freedom over an illness that is about as serious as the annual flu?

President Trump has defended us from Coronavirus valiantly, and I applaud his efforts. But we must be wise as well - respond appropriately but not in a way that deprives us of our fundamental liberties, nor that destroys the ability of our nation's citizens to survive and feed ourselves.

I have spent my entire adult life, in the military and as a firefighter, keeping you safe. I will ALWAYS keep you safe- AND I will defend your constitutional freedoms. That's why I fought in the military!
