Although you're likely not hearing as much about it in the news, this week marks two years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. That's two years of war, fear, uncertainty and displacement — and the violence continues as you're reading this.
On this anniversary, we're still standing with Ukraine. We're doing all we can to rebuild communities and restore a sense of safety for refugees and those displaced by this conflict. I can never express how grateful I am for our resilient Ukrainian team members who are working so hard to save lives — all while experiencing the trauma of war themselves.
I am also so thankful for the way you and the rest of the Project HOPE community have stood strong with Ukraine for the past two years. And while this month comes with a heavy sense of loss, it reminds me of how powerful we can be when we choose to act together.
