"He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’"

– Revelation 21:5a

Latin America

Praise God for the Bolivian Global Survivor Network chapter’s new book presented to the government’s legislative branch. Titled "It was Never my Fault, and Now I Know It," the Phoenix group members bravely share their experiences of sexual violence. Their aim is to shift societal perceptions in Bolivia regarding the impact of this crime on victims and to advocate for expanded protection for children facing violence. Please pray that God will use their book to inspire legislators to protect those who live in vulnerable situations.

Africa & Europe

Pray for our baseline study underway in Uganda. Pray for strength for the research teams as they travel throughout the country, and for strong relationships and favor with the partners we are engaging. Pray for good collaboration and for this study to provide insights that will help us to know how we can best support our government partners in the work they do to protect women and children from violence.

South Asia

Thank you for praying for our South Asia leadership team last week! We are grateful for time spent in person, for refreshing fellowship and for the opportunity to vision cast as a team. Please continue to pray for this team as they work closely with the government to bring about change in the region.

Praise God for the escape of Vu* from human trafficking in Cambodia. Vu was lured into a Cambodian trafficking network under the pretense of a lucrative job opportunity in Thailand, only to find himself trapped and sold against his will. After escaping from his captors, Cambodian police swiftly intervened to get him to safety, and IJM has supported him in the process of restoration. We pray for Vu's continued safety and smooth repatriation, and may his story raise awareness about the dangers of online deception and trafficking, prompting global action against this crime.

Local Prayer Gatherings . Prayer is a powerful and necessary tool to push back the darkness, and we are excited to offer the opportunity for churches and communities to partner with IJM through prayer, lifting up those in our field offices and those suffering injustices around them. Please pray that people will desire and step up to host these important gatherings.

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them,
please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
