Axios is reporting that House Republicans, led by the ultra-extreme Speaker Mike Johnson, are unable to agree within their party over how to address funding the government by March 1st, a week from today. 

Knowing that even a partial government shutdown would be catastrophic for our families and our economy, ultra-conservative members of the House Republican caucus are adamant that they would rather see a shutdown than compromise with Democrats. 

This is no way to govern, John, and it illustrates just how important the 2024 election is to getting Congress back on track to tackle the biggest issues facing our country. Flipping the House depends on whether we can re-elect Democrats in toss-up seats like Jahana!
