You're part of a powerful team – a 4 million-strong base of informed, engaged, and passionate people who power the ACLU. Together we'll fight for civil rights and liberties in the courts, in legislatures, and in the streets. And together, we'll win: In 2017 alone, we sued the Trump administration 56 times, made tens of thousands of phone calls, and marched by the millions – and we're nowhere close to stopping.

The ACLU has been here for nearly 100 years. And in the last century we've won a lot more than we've lost, but no matter the outcome we always keep fighting – especially against administrations that pose a grave threat to our civil liberties.

That's a commitment I hope you choose to make: to always keep fighting, whatever the odds, to make sure this country lives up to our Constitution – a country powered by the people.

• Follow us on social media for the latest: Connect with the ACLU on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Get an alert when it's time to act: Sign up for ACLU text alerts by texting FIGHT to 82623 so you can be the first to take action when our rights and liberties are threatened. We won't text too often, we promise.
• Chip in to support the work: When you make a contribution, you make it possible for us to fight threats to our freedoms across the country, wherever they arise. Best of all, you'll officially be a card-carrying member of the ACLU. Help support our work.

In the months ahead, you'll hear from me and other team members here at the ACLU about more ways you can stay involved and fight for our rights and liberties.
