This Alabama ruling is a travesty for IVF patients hoping to start new families. Blocking access to IVF and care for IVF patients is not only a violation of reproductive rights but also a blatant disregard for the well-being and autonomy of individuals and families.

This decision by the Alabama Supreme Court is regressive and harmful, denying people the chance to build the families they desire and deserve.
