Tomorrow is the Republican presidential primary here in South Carolina. And even though it's the fourth state in the country to vote, it's a defining moment for our politics: Donald Trump is on the cusp of solidifying his presidential nominee status.

His decisive wins across the country have shown us that the MAGA agenda still runs deep in the veins of our country.

We know how dangerous Trump's agenda is to working families. He proved it in his bungling of handling the COVID crisis, forcing thousands of otherwise preventable deaths, and more recently in his comments that gave Russia the red light to invade European countries.

We must remain clear-eyed on the threat that Donald Trump poses to our democracy.

Tomorrow's results will likely tell us one story: the Republican Party is still Donald Trump's, and defeating him starts with beating his loyalists, like Nancy Mace.
