TWIA files revisions to conform to HB 3208

The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) has filed revised rating rules with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) for approval.

The revisions conform the rules to House Bill 3208 [ [link removed] ]. Under the bill, if an insured cancels their policy, TWIA will keep the entire annual premium unless the cancellation was for one of the reasons listed in the bill. *This filing does not change TWIA?s rates.*
